Coles’ new face for ‘Down Down’ campaign

Coles has announced Australian entertainer Casey Donovan as the new lead singer of Coles’ reinvigorated ‘Down Down’ campaign.

Casey’s appointment comes as Coles drops the price on 34 San Remo pasta products, some by up to 25 per cent, and Coles Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies.

The latest drop brings the total to more than 1,000 products added to ‘Everyday low pricing’ over the past 12 months.

Coles Chief Customer Officer Simon McDowell says Coles is excited for Casey to join the team and sing about the great value at Coles, as the company is more focused than ever on making groceries even more affordable.

“We know families are shopping on a budget, so they need to get value right across the store,” he said. “Pasta is a go-to for many families that are busy on a budget, so we hope by dropping prices by up to 25 per cent we can help make a real difference to their shopping bill.

“As our Coles Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies are the bestselling chocolate chip cookie in Australia, we decided to drop the price so more people can get a taste for less. At $3 per box, that’s around 11 cents per cookie.”
