Neto launches new omnichannel POS solution

Digital commerce platform Neto has launched its first retail POS solution capable of processing purchases made in-store and at online sites and marketplaces.

Neto says the new solution allows retailers to manage all sales from a single platform.

“The Neto digital commerce platform is able to track inventory and sales across multiple locations, and is updated in real time to account for sales made through a physical store, a retailer’s online store and even their eBay store,” Neto co-founder Ryan Murtagh said.

“It also integrates with leading shipping carriers, such as Australia Post eParcel, enabling easy fulfilment for all orders.”

Sensis research indicates that 66 per cent of Australian retailers still mostly conduct business locally. Mr Murtagh says Neto will allow retailers to take the first steps towards reaching a broader, even global, audience by providing them with the tools needed to sell online.

“This is the critical first step for Australian retailers that would like to establish a presence online and, equally, it’s an opportunity for retailers to bring digital-commerce innovation to their physical stores,” he said.

Neto says the solution links into social media, allowing retailers to reach out directly to their customers. The platform also integrates social features such as customer reviews, deep analytics and discounting, which may allow retailers to better understand how their product lines and overall business are performing.

Retailers can trial the service for 14 days at no charge, after which they are offered a three-tiered pricing system that Neto says allows companies to expand their use of the system as they grow.
