Nuttelex launches another on-trend spread

One hundred per cent Australian owned and made spreads manufacturer Nuttelex offers a range of healthy alternatives to butter, including Pulse, Olive and Lite versions.

Established in 1932, Nuttelex has grown from its humble origins in a backstreet in Windsor, Victoria to operate a state-of-the-art purpose-built facility in Knox.

“Nuttelex’s new facility in Knox gives us the ability to investigate new product lines in small batches and with complete quality control,” a Nuttelex Australia spokesperson said.

Giving consumers another healthy alternative to butter, Nuttelex recently launched Sunburst, the first Australian table spread to be made with coconut oil. Completely palm oil free, it is claimed to be ideal for baking – extensive testing by chefs have produced mouth-watering results full of flavour. The product contains no cholesterol or artificial additives, is free from dairy, nuts, gluten, soy and lactose, while also being salt reduced.

As Sunburst recently entered the market, Nuttelex is awaiting sales data with a strongly positive outlook.

“To support the launch and ongoing sales of Sunburst, we are using a multimedia approach of national magazine advertising, online and digital, radio, social media, inclusions in major supermarket magazines and PR,” the spokesperson said. “This support material looks to place Sunburst strongly in the Australian market.”

RRP: $2.99 per 375g pack.
