Three leading IGA stores in Western Australia have been recognised at the annual IGA Awards of Excellence.

Preston Street IGA at Como, Wembley SUPA IGA, and Swanbourne Market IGA X-Press, all in Perth, were named IGA Store of the Year, SUPA IGA Store of the Year and IGA X-Press Store of the Year, respectively, for the WA region.

Metcash says the awards represent the highest example of retail excellence and demonstrate the stores’ ability to grow in challenging competitive environments.

“The leading WA stores presented with an award … demonstrate impeccable retail standards, team work and dedication to providing a great experience for the local community,” Metcash Food & Grocery General Manager Supermarkets WA Grant Ramage said.

“We’re proud to support independent supermarkets across WA and acknowledge the hard work and commitment our stores have demonstrated throughout the year.”
