Woolworths connects with own-brand suppliers

Own-brand grocery specialist Solutions for Retail Brands (S4RB) has partnered with Woolworths on a new system to help the retailer connect with suppliers.

Powered by supplierENGAGE, the Woolworths FoodCo Supplier Portal allows producers to ask questions, access documents and stay up to date with company news and policies.

The Woolworths FoodCo Supplier Portal was launched in August, enabling the supermarket to work in further collaboration with its partners to push forward innovation and improvements in its products and help build supplier engagement.

S4RB Managing Director James Butcher said: “This portal gives all Woolworths partners easy access to a knowledge bank, including answers to common questions and resources. It’s designed to be intuitive and user friendly, so it includes videos and an easy-to-fill form to submit questions.”

Head of Woolworths FoodCo Supplier Development Clair Stevenson said FoodCo ENGAGE will allow Woolworths to “improve communications with suppliers, support them through the online self-help, and share information and product performance”.

“This will play a key part in us continuing to deliver great-quality products for our customers,” she added.

Founded just more than a decade ago, S4RB is headquartered in Nottingham and Fort Worth, Texas, and creates and manages software to improve engagement and relationships between retailers, their own brand suppliers, and their customers.
